The PTO sponsors and provides funding for many events and services that Cataract children enjoy each year and also to help with school needs in the library, on the playground and in the classroom.  For example during the last two years, Cataract Elementary PTO donated nearly $5700 toward Halloween parties, field trips, the Veterans Day Program, the making of the school quilts, a DVD player, digital camera/accessories, school picnics, new water cooler, books and Rockin' Recess for the Book-It reading program and donations to area families in need.
