Meet Mrs. Langrehr:

Hello! My name is Sarah Langrehr and I teach first and second grade at Cataract Elementary School.  My husband Tom and I grew up in the Bangor area and are now fortunate to live in Bangor. We enjoy the peace and quiet that living in the country has to offer!  We have a son, named Dayne, who keeps us very busy!

I have many hobbies. One of my passions is exploring in nature. Since we have several acres of land, I enjoy perusing for unique plants and animals. I share my respect for nature with my students as we travel on the Cataract Kids Nature Trail several times each year. Tom and I enjoy using our ATV and snowmobile. We also play on a volleyball team in the summer. In addition to playing sports, Tom and I love to watch them. We are avid Badger fans and look forward to traveling to Camp Randall to watch the team each fall!  We also spend a great deal of time with our family.

I am beginning my 7th year of teaching at Cataract Elementary.  Prior to teaching at Cataract, I taught kindergarten at North Woods Elementary School in La Crosse. I also was a substitute teacher in the surrounding area.

I feel very fortunate to teach in a school with great students and parents, a dedicated staff, and a supportive community.  Cataract Elementary School truly is “a great place to learn and grow!”
